The Wake Technical Community College Employee Handbook establishes policies, procedures, benefits, and working conditions that are to be followed by all Wake Technical Community College employees as a condition of their employment. The Employee Handbook is not a contract of employment, nor is it intended to create contractual obligations of any kind for the College.
The policies, procedures, benefits, and working conditions outlined in the Employee Handbook will be applied at the discretion of Wake Technical Community College. The College reserves the right to deviate from, change, or withdraw those policies, procedures, benefits, and working conditions at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.
The College will make every effort to notify employees when an official change in policy or procedure has been made, including but not limited to notification through internal communication channels. Employees are, however, responsible for knowing and understanding College policies and for staying informed about changes. Updates will be listed on the Employee Updates web page, located at http://policies.waketech.edu as they become available.
